Bygda ligg innerst i Syvdefjorden som er ein typisk vestlandsfjord omkransa av relativt høge fjell. I desse dalføra endar vegen på omlag 300 m. og er eit fint utgangspunkt for fjellturar. Idrettslaget eig og driv Øverberg.
